About David McDonald

David is a teacher and speaker who has walked an interesting road to get where he is today. Born and raised in Texas, he attended Hardin-Simmons University where he majored in Finance and played soccer. He did his education certification and master’s work in Political Science at the University of Texas at Arlington.

David worked in the financial sector for a few years as a stock broker before feeling called to other pursuits. He did some music production work and eventually found his way into education. David has spent the last 25 years teaching and coaching high school students.

He lives with his wife, Kristi, and two kids in Mansfield, Texas.
